Ms. Evans is a St. John's-based chartered accountant with over 20 years experience in senior management roles with the Research and Development Corporation ("RDC"), a NL crown corporation investing in research and development, FPI Limited, a TSX-listed global seafood company, and Ernst and Young. As CFO of RDC, Ms. Evans is responsible for financial, information technology ("IT"), procurement and treasury operations of the corporation. She also is an executive member responsible for strategic planning and execution of the corporation's business plan. As CFO and Corporate Secretary for FPI, Ms. Evans was responsible for corporate finance, foreign investment and consolidation strategy, financial compliance for public company reporting, IT and human resources. She also played a key role in executing the corporation's strategic business plans as it transitioned from operator to holding company.
