December 15, 2009 Corporate Update Cornerstone has been through a very challenging 18 months starting back in April/08 with the shutdown of the mining industry in Ecuador by the Mining Mandate, then followed by the worst bear market since the Great Depression. While many junior mining companies have not yet enjoyed a strong price rebound, with more liquidity coupled with record high gold prices, we expect to see a returning interest in the junior mining sector. . . February 27, 2009 February Update On January 13th we reported on the approval of the new mining law by the Ecuadorian congress. The law was subsequently officially enacted on January 29th which now clears the way for "normalization" of exploration and mining activities in the country . . . (5 KB) |

January 15, 2009 January Update We at Cornerstone sincerely wish you, your colleagues, business associates and family the very best for a healthy and prosperous 2009. There is a lot of financial ground to make up after the devastating close to 2008 but there are early indications that the secular commodities bull market may yet prevail over the longer term. November 21, 2008 Cornerstone Update Most of us are painfully aware of the current turbulent economic conditions and the horrendous destruction of market value that occurred in October. The bad news continues both on a macro-scale and in specific sectors . . . (6 KB) |

September 25, 2008 August Update Despite the gut-wrenching turmoil in the markets of the past few weeks, there now seems to be some reason for optimism in the wake of the US government's moves to stabilize their financial system . . . (6 KB) |
